S-S stands for Style-Sheet. During the early days of the Internet, a small group of very talented and very brilliant individuals, used hypertext-mark-up-language or HTML, to create all kinds of beautifully-designed and interesting websites. Pretty soon, corporations as well as personal entrepreneurs, wanted to establish their own websites to promote their own products and their own organizational points of view......and so......to accommodate their needs, the profession of website-designer got to be born. After a while, some of the less-talented website-designers got really tired of having to learn all that HTML and of needing to start each new website-design completely from scratch, so another group of Internet professionals began to create and promote Style-Sheets, i.e. pre-designed websites on which all the boxes and spaces were already in existence, so that all a web-designer needed to do, was to fill in all those boxes and spaces with the images, articles, and verbal messages, their clients wanted them to display......and voila!......thousands of websites now got to be completed with minimal knowledge, minimal design-talent, and very little labor, so that they could be displayed online, within a couple of days. Thinking about this process and how it came about, got me to discover a humorous correlation in ordinary individuals who appropriate the achievements of others.....use those achievements to assemble their own personalities......then endow themselves with a sense of imaginary value they simply do not possess, by creating what might be called: Professional-Style-Sheets Parenting-Style-Sheets New-Age-Guru-Style-Sheets Automaker-Style-Sheets Relationship-Style-Sheets Savings & Loan-Style-Sheets Oh.....the list of self-endowed possibilities is truly endless, and those who have appropriated such other-created values, are often difficult to understand, since their entire belief-system is built on the foundation of another person's value-system.
